Indoor Camping

Last night was date night and the theme was CAMPING! Well, yeah it did NOT go the way I wanted it too but now at least I know how to NOT do our "camping" trip. I tried to set the couch up as our tent BUT the sheets did NOT want to stay pinned to the ceiling. Movie of choice was Silent House but that was a bad idea because I'm a total WHIMP. I am sooo jumpy that once it actually started getting good I kept covering my eyes because I didn't know what was going to jump out of no where! HAHA. At least I know that every year for August 10th will be doing s'mores :)! Stay tuned for next week, hopefully it will go how I would like it :).

Something I have wanted to do more than anything is start my own sweats line (hoodies and sweat pants and fitted/trucker hats, tanks). I have all these ideas but I can NOT draw for the life of me. I've tried looking for an artist but every time I think I found someone they bail. I'm not giving up on this! I want it that bad!! I will continue to search for an artist as well I will keep coming up with ideas!! :-)

LittlePassports

Today has for sure been a GREAT day! I ordered my daughter something from littlepassports.com. For the next 2 years she is going to get a new suitcase every month with a new country in it! (now I had to order another for my other daughter because I already see the fights!! Lol) The suitcase she got today is her starter suitcase, in it she got a HUGE world map and of course she got her passport too. Looking forward to every month getting to look through everything with my girls. We even get to go online and play! I have decided to become a distributor because I highly support teaching kids and having fun with them!!! Ready for next month so we can start our travels :-)!

National S'more Day

So, very excited!! Last night I was looking at thedatingdivas.com and came across some of the BEST ideas! I had NO idea that this friday (August 10th) is National S'more Day. So of course I want to do something cute for my hunni! I saw what they had and I loved the idea so I think that I will do that and maybe add a little extra. Not 100% sure what else I will be doing at this point, I just know that we will be making s'mores because you can NOT not make a s'more on National S'more day!! :) Stay tuned to see how date night goes!

April 26, 2014

When we got married, we did a courthouse wedding. I have been waiting for the day that we would finally be able to have a ceremony. With the fact that we are moving back to the states I have picked a day. :) The date is April 26th 2014! We will be celebrating 7 years of marriage and I will finally get to walk down the isle. We have both agreed that the ceremony itself is going to be small. ONLY those people that are active in our lives and that mean the most to us. Honestly, I do not want to have people there just to have people there. I want to be able to share a very special moment in my life with people that care. I realize it seems like its forever away but really it isn't. I already have the colors, and the fact that it will be on the beach picked out. I want it to be simple, nothing too crazy. I don't even want to wear shoes :)! I can't wait to see what I'm envisioning actually come to life. I would like to make the reception a big party though. Since the ceremony will be small I want to be able to have more people to celebrate with after. We will be celebrating 7 years of marriage at the same time. Even though I still only want people that are active in our lives. I don't want people that we do not talk to, to be around. I see no reason to be fake in any way on our special day. We've been through so much to have to pretend on a very special night. Let the planning commense!!!!

Scavenger Hunt

Last night was date night. I decided that we would just watch Boondocks! To make it a bit more fun I planned a scavenger hunt. I left the first clue on the front door for him to find when he walked in the house. It led him to the microwave to clue 2. That led him to the fridge or clue 3. From there he went to the lazy Susan for clue 4. Clue 4 was in our room (our blanket and pillows. There he found clue 5 which led to the xbox where our movies were waiting for him! It was simple but still fun.
