In The Double Digits

Finally in the double digits! 99 more days to go, add or take a few. I'm leaning on the add a few because I'm not 100% sure when he will be home. These last few months are going to be the craziest. Between slowly packing up my house and getting rid of what we do not need to looking for a job and house. Also trying to get things in line for our plan! I finally feel that he and I are on the right path. We are in the best place with our marriage, life seems to keep just getting better and better. With all these curve balls being thrown our way we seem to keep coming out on top. Things are for sure far from perfect but I honestly can not complain. When I look at how things have turned out it blows my mind to think it happened this way. It's nice to know that as much as things have changed we have not really changed as much as I thought we might. For the most part we are the same just a tad bit more grown up. I'm looking forward to getting to see my friends and my mom! It's been a long time and I need my fix. I've felt alone for far too long, it's time to be with the people that matter.

Ear Piercing

How I got to be so lucky as to find this as my other "job" I do not know but I am sure glad that I stumbled upon it. Once a month I get to step out of my normal everyday life and spend at least three hours piercing ears. I get to see so many little kids and babies. So I get to have my baby fix without having another one :). That of course if a bonus all in itself. It's a nice feeling being able to go to the BX and see someone that I just met from ear piercing and have them say hi to me or to say thank you again. Its a good feeling! :) I'm very sad that I only have three more months of doing this. It's going to be a bitter sweet moment on my last day.

Well, it seems that Friday nights are NOT a good date night for us! :) Saturdays are going to be a better day/night. Even though I still plan to have some of our date nights be during the week, for us to NOT want to pass out so early I think we should maybe stick to the weekends. Lesson learned on this one. Over all last night was fun because it was just us doing something together. Even though yes we were just playing a board game, it was nicet to just be worring about US. We are going to play the game again today because some how we messed up during the game. (I messed up because I was the one reading the rules and somehow managed to skip over a part that was kind of important to us actually figuring out the clues. Last night was like a test run for the ideas that I have going on in my head. Next date night I will plan it a tad bit better and make sure that everything is good to go before hand so that we are NOT confused :)! The plan is to actually scrapbook all our date nights. We've never really "dated" so this is new to us and to be honest I like it because I don't want us to ever forget that our relationship is whats gotten us to where we are and that we need to always keep it important to us. Ready for another "date" today/tonight!
                  

A Day In My Life

Oh man, it's Friday and all I want to do is go home. I've been staring at this blank/black screen since about 9 this morning. This whole sitting at a desk all day and working for someone else is getting very old. I feel like I'm meant for more, just have to plant my feet and get through beauty school and my certifications first! :-) Tonight starts the adventure of "dating" with my lover. We've been together for almost 8 years and have never actually dated. After 2 kids and NO "us" time, it's time to put "us" as a top priority. The plan is to have a date night every week and of course take pictures and blog about it. I have been looking online at fun date ideas. I will add the links to the 4 pages where I'm getting my ideas when I post the "date." It's time to fall in love all over again!!

the reason I do what I do

I decided that I wanted to do a 365 Photo challenge, well I think I just want to start taking more pictures in general. Today seemed to be a picture type of day too . I was happy with the way I looked which most days I’m not because I hate having to always be in “professional” clothing. I am a sweats and hoodie type of gal. Plus it’s always fun when you get something in the mail that you have been waiting on the last week!

Day Zero Project

I started my Day Zero Project. I must say that I am entirly excited for it. It gives me something to look forward to that keeps me on my toes and is fun. At this point in my life I have a HUGE change coming up and I just need something that will be fun and entertaining and also make the hard moments easier. So It Begins

I have FINALLY decided to start my own blog! I thought that it would be a fun way to keep the memories of our lives “alive.” Having two kids also makes it hard to not want to always have a video camera going so we can always replay the good moments. Next best thing BLOG! So with that being said enjoy the journey with us as we live out our “once upon a time.
